It’s tucked away on a private driveway, nestled among live oaks on the quiet south end, just a short walk to the beach and Oceanic Restaurant, it is arguably one of the best locations on the island. As you enter the foyer there is a guest room with two twin beds and an adjoining full bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. There is a formal sitting room off the foyer that is furnished with comfortable seating and a library. Guests of this lovely family home enjoy the spacious great room which features an open concept living, dining, kitchen area. The large living room offers ample seating, fantastic views of the Intracoastal waterway, and gives access to the sound front deck. A large farmhouse dining table comfortably seats 10 people and there is additional bar seating at the kitchen island. The sizable kitchen provides plenty of space for meal prep and storing groceries. Recently renovated to include updated appliances, granite counter tops, beautiful cabinetry, this kitchen is sure to please the family chef! Just off the main living area is a staircase that leads to the second level of the home which houses the living quarters. A sizable master suite overlooks the sound and offers a comfortable king-sized bed, sitting area complete with sofa and TV, sound front private deck with rocking chairs, and a spacious bathroom with a large soaking tub. The second guest room on this level is also furnished with a king-sized bed and has a private bathroom for added convenience and privacy. There is a guest bedroom with two twin beds close by which is great for kids! Just across the hall you will find a full bathroom complete with a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom on this level is also furnished with a king bed and serviced by the hall bathroom. The third living level of this roomy home is a wonderful bonus room. Two plush sofas, a flat screen TV, beautiful views of the sound, and a half bathroom make this a great spot for watching movies and relaxing after a fun day out in the sun! The outdoor space that this home offers is ideal for active families that want to enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest. Conveniently launch kayaks or paddle boards from the dock, fish, relax in the hammock, or grill out with a cocktail while watching spectacular sunsets! Children will especially enjoy playing and swimming at the sound beach that emerges during low tide. Bring the whole family, boat, jet skis, and kayaks - there’s plenty of space and lots to do!
