Located on tranquil, family friendly North Topsail Beach “My Happy Place 2.0” is just the place, the happy place to bring your family for some time away. This home is on a residential street where you can safely allow the kids to ride their bikes, skateboard or try their luck at submerging a crab trap in the wetlands that butt up to the backyard. They might be able to catch enough crabs for dinner! Building memories is what this home is all about. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is comfortable and welcoming. Walking into the living room you’ll put your suitcase down, take a seat on the couch put your feet up and instantly start your vacation. The living room has a comfortable couch and chair and TV to watch your favorite streaming services. The open floor plan allows for lively cross conversation. The dining room table seats 6 and there are 2 stools at the kitchen counter. Everyone can find a spot to eat a meal together, play a game or just reconnect. The kitchen is equipped to make a quick meal on the go or something a little more ambitious. The stacked washer and dryer are in a closet in the living room making it so convenient. Down the hall you’ll find the 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub/ shower. The other 2 bedrooms share a hall bath with a bathtub/ shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and access to the screened in porch. The other bedroom has a twin size bunk bed and a queen bed. Gather up your towel, beach chair, umbrella, and sunscreen. The crossover to the beach is a short walk down the road and across a 2-lane street. Starting your day with a walk on the beach, finding shells and shark’s teeth is just what you have been needing. Once you feel tired from doing nothing and you are a little pinker than you intended to be head back to “My (…or really Your) Happy Place”. Shower off in the convenient outside shower under the home. The porch wraps around the side of the home allowing for panoramic views. There is a screened porch with chairs and small tables to gather at to toast the unobstructed views of the salt marsh leading out to the Intercoastal Waterway. Teaming with wildlife, this side of the Island offers you a vantage point that beach goers don’t often see. As the sun goes down the sky is set ablaze. Once it’s dark out and the temperature has cooled you can all troop back over to the beach to allow the little ones to expel the last bit of energy hunting for ghost crabs. Close enough to things to do and sights to see but far enough away that you don’t feel pulled in every direction. Allow My Happy Place 2.0 to become Your Happy Place, too.
