Beautiful North Asheville home for rent! Available May 2024, for a 3- to- 6-month lease option would be ideal. Home rented unfurnished. Please tell us briefly about yourself including who would be living in the home, your desired lease length, your profession, and whether you have pets. Thank you. Location & Neighborhood: 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in Jackson Park in desirable North Asheville. Home is within walking and biking distance to UNC Asheville and the Botanic Gardens as well as the bars and restaurants off Merrimon Avenue. Convenient to downtown, Beaver Lake, and the Grove Park Inn. Across the street from Asheville Pizza and Brewing. This is a very special neighborhood that we're sure you'll come to love as much as we do. About the house: The house is an early 1900's craftsman. In the front is a small yard with gardening space and a large magnolia tree and side patio. The house has a large enclosed backyard (great for dogs) and a large beautiful shade tree. As you enter, there is a foyer, great as a mudroom or seated entry way. This leads into a living room with a gas fireplace and connected dining room. Both rooms have tons of windows (almost all are original to the home) and the rooms are flooded with natural light. The kitchen was completely remodeled in 2022 (new cabinets, appliances, fixtures, countertops, tile, and paint). There are three bedrooms and two full baths. The bathroom off of the master bedroom has a stand up shower and radiant heated floors (a perk in winter time). The second bath has a bath tub, is shared by the other two bedrooms, and separated by a hallway with closet space. All bedrooms have closets and windows with views of greenery and yard space. The basement is unfinished and has tons of storage and built in storage shelves. There is a washer, dryer, and second fridge available in the basement. The basement has a separate door connecting to the back yard which can also be used as a back entry. Please note that we currently keep a vintage airstream in part of the exterior of the home. There is a sizable attic with electric and natural light/ windows. The attic is accessible via a stairwell from the dining room. It is unfinished and has additional storage space. Renter is responsible for utilities. Owner maintains front yard mowing/ maintenance. Please note that backyard is low maintenance/ natural, and we do not foresee regular upkeep needed. Security deposit equal to one and a half month's rent, due upon signing of lease. First months rent will be due on the first day of the month following signing of lease agreement, or on the first day of determined move in date. We love furry friends and are happy to allow one dog. There is a large fully fenced backyard. We require notification if you will be living with a dog. Other requests as part of lease agreement include: (1) no smoking of any kind inside the home, (2) use of furniture pads to prevent scratching of hardwood floors will be provided for the move-in of tenant furniture, (3) regular pet clean-up in the front and back yard. (3) use of provided wall hangings. Please note that a small portion of the unfinished basement will be used to store owner belongings. Belongings are kept in a locked room, separate from the rest of the basement. Parking: There is ample parking available in the driveway that can accommodate multiple cars or a car and a camper. We ask that you do not park anything past the wooden gate entrance to the backyard. Street parking is also available.
